Amravati is the eight most populous city in the state of Maharashtra and it is believed to be developed long before the tenth century. Amravati is rapidly expanding southwards and is known for more than 265 educational institutes established within the region. It has recently been selected as one amongst the 98 smart cities that shall be developed in India.
